During 2020, Keep Dancing Inc have gone from strength to strength. The Parisian trio caught our attention in April with ‘Start Up Nation’, a retro cut that blends funky beats with video game-esque synthesiser appreciation. Over the summer, they continued to drop tracks that expanded on what we already knew about the band, while maintaining that jangly, summery feeling that makes them so special. Eventually, their debut album, Embrace, dropped in October and brought together twelve of the year’s best tracks in just under 45 minutes. Their output is charming and addictive, their sound filled with the warmth of FM synths and their unique take on a brand of pop many would call outdated is the total opposite. -Dan Peeke
